  1. If I were to start all over, I would not do Royal Road. I would do the Card College series instead. It’s updated using today’s language and the tricks are better. Royal Road has maybe 2 tricks that I still use. At some point, it may be worth going back to reading Royal Road, but I can’t recommend it for beginners when there are better options now.

  2. Foud Sternko in a magic shop in Seattle, recently. Love his DPS.
    Fun fact. Sternko was an original Fantastic four and Iron man artist. So all the illustrations in the book are by him.

  3. I’ve had so many over the years starting with the Mickey Mouse Book of Magic. I’ve often found it difficult to learn from the books especially if it was trying to diagram a sleight or something. That being said, I do have Max Maven’s Prism on the way. Should be here on Monday, very much looking forward to getting that!
